Works with: individuals age 17+.
Fees: Initial session $330 for 80 minutes, subsequent session $220 for 50 minutes, after-hour (after 5pm and public holiday) session $240/50 min and $350/80 min, Medicare rebate $96.
Availability: 10-7pm Friday in Blackburn Office

Dr Tina Liu has a diverse background in psychology that spans across tertiary education, research and clinical practice. Prior to joining the private practice, Tina completed her PhD in cross-cultural psychological assessment, worked as a lecturer in a foundation program for international students and practiced as a research psychologist in a public mental health setting, focusing on clinical research. This multifaceted experience enriches her therapeutic approach by incorporating the understanding of latest research findings to inform her clinical practice and provide the best care. She is dedicated to supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma and adjustment issues.

Tina integrates various therapeutic modalities, includes CBT, ACT, and mindfulness, tailoring her approach to meet each client's unique needs. Tina's strong research and academic background have allowed her to develop evidence-based clinical thinking across a wide range of clinical conditions. Her community psychology background also strengthens her perspectives on the social conditions as a context for individual wellbeing.
